Aintree Motorcycle Club

On Wednesday this week (1st May) Aintree Motorcycle Club have their test day. It starts at 10am and entry is free. Head for Aintree Golf Centre and the entrance gate is near the canal bridge on Melling Road, L9 5AS.

The Wilson Cup Sailing Regatta

This event takes place from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May at West Kirby Sailing Club on the Marine Lake. I suggest going by train as this is a national regatta with 34 teams taking part, so parking will be very limited.

It starts around 9am each day and each race only last 10 minutes, lots of action and changes of sail colour.

Medium telephoto lens and nd filters to give a 1/2 second exposure.
